The S4 is the first pefect phone. Extremely perfect. It can do everything, it's fast and elegant. Install a customized ROM on it (Kitkat), charge it wirelessly, and it can't be beaten. With S6 they copied S4, so the design is still fresh, it has SD card, rem. battery. It's COMPACT (not like the S5). For some years it won't be surpassed. It's definitely better, then Iphone 5, it's about on par with Iphone 6. Why would anybody spend so much money on the newest phones?
Don't bother with new OS versions. Lollipop, M, N, O,....X. Who cares? Nobody cares.
If you are lucky enough to have the S4, then stick with it for 3 or 4 more years.
When new battery technologies come, change it. Lifecycle of a phone shoud be at least 4-5 years. I think my next phone will be the S9 around the time the S10 comes out in 2019. End of story.

My iphone has dual core processor and 1 GB RAM and still it beats so called high end android smartphoes with octa core processor and 4 GB RAM. And my iphone doesn't lag like android.

Wow, android so fragmented. There are still billons of android device which may never get a taste of lollipop. And add another insult, android m coming. Its the reason why I prefer iphone. No fragmentation and always get latest update!

The best feature in Lollipop that when someone call you and you are in middle of something, It will shows like a notification :),
Others is almost the same as Kitkat, Thank you Sony

Fact is, android is slow and fragmented af. I get that it isn't Googles fault but it is a fact that android lags because of the amount of devices it runs on. Also, Sony is loosing money fast, I would be surprised if they lasted for another two years...

Secondly, since Google is the stock maker of android, it gives updates to most of the nexus Devices! thirdly, ask apple to enable other manufacturers to develop ios devices and then we will see if still ALL IOS DEVICES. receives updates or not! fourth, My Z ultra has quite decent chances of receiving Android M since Z ultra is a Z1 series device and not a Z series device! So if Z1 receives update, Z ultra will also receive it!

I pity on you. go and use a 100$-200$ apple product (If there are any) and then speak about lag. previous generation of apple devices lags like anything (Like a car with flat tire) and if you are speaking about current flagship devices, then none of the Android flagship devices lag even for a second. leave apart flagship, I have a Xperia Z ultra which I bought for 300$, and even after extensive use (Really extensive use) of 1 year it runs like a horse! So I couldn't understand what you are speaking about
