Ubuntu didn't seriously on this device when they pop out with the testing device high price, slow specification and just have a big camera for small storage... so much kidding.

I absolitely lobe these armchair engineers, whontalk more "smack" on the hardware specs. Without ever once taking into consideration, the OS itself. Remember folks. This aen't the days of Symbian. We are currently slaved to the now, seriously over rated, over bloated world of Android. So let's remember that Ubuntu IS the issue here. And it is IX at its core.

Remember back in the day, when we used to load up those infant versions of Linux on some old 486DX. Or (dare I say it) a Pentium Pro. Only to discover it ran faster than our brand new P-II.

So... Sight unseen. I have a feeling these new handsets, might be running just as competetively as those Nex-Gen systems currently popping up.

I think it's too expensive for mobile phone with quad core processor, in fact we can get better specs at lower price.

I don't understand why the price hate?
Yes it's not the newest and best SoC used in this phone, but the price is on par with other phones like Samsung S3 Neo or Alcatel Idol 3 here in Europe.
The only thing that I want to know is how the Ubuntu OS runs on this phone. And if this is future proof so I don't buy a niche device that will be obsolete in few months.

Hmm Mediatek A7 CPU, not A53 or A57, with 1 GB. Could improve a little with very little extra cost.
