Those who are all wish to buy lenovo mobiles its good but you can use mobile with existing firmware only. Do not update android firmware because it may give lots of problem example out of two Sim only one will work, camera will not work

Upgraded to lollipop a month ago and now im having a problem with the Internet, i can't surf the net anymore even though the data is on. I've made a complaint to the customer care thought that the problem was with the internet connection(sim) but no.....they said there's nothing problem with it. So, please anyone? help me out.... its just the net that im facing this problem, others there are all working just fine. Do i have to downgrade it?

When I bought my phone it was really fast but when I updated it become super slow :c I'm going back to kitkat 4.4, I hope you make a simple userfriendly way to go back in android versions, why is it so forced damn

Hello everybody and Merry Chtistmas
I just bought the Vibe X2 for my wife and I red all these comments about the failed update with lollipop so I told my wife to disable the update setting. I also own a galaxy s3 and the setting is very easy. Settings/more/about device/software update/automatic update uncheck and it's done. But in this device at about phone/software update there is only the rom version of the update, some warnings and a big download button in the bottom part and nothing else. How can we stop te update from happening? I told my wife not to connect to the internet, but we want to enjoy the christmas present. Please advise on how to disable. Thank you and have a nice day.

It is absolute nonsense from Lenovo to give you opportunity to upgrade and then to fail almost certainly. Let me tell you that I have tried to reimage my phone with stand alone image of Lolipop and the same bug as all of you described appeared with me as well - phone became garbage more or less.... The conclusion here is that Lolipop in my opinion is not compatible with Vibe X2 which does not mean that it will not be with Marshmallow. Let me tell you that I have seen other phone brands like some models of Samsung, Huawei, etc. which also tremble with Lolipop dramatically. Anyway enough for the part where you are right. I do not agree that the phone is not good - it is fabulous after few optimization of processes that are Android controlled it is brilliant. After stopping some battery torture built in packages from the OS which I personally do not use, battery lasts for at least 2 days normal use and 3 days below average use. The hardware of the phone is also speed train and it is comparable with almost 2 times the price phone brands. Enough talking so far.
Conclusion: If you want your phone to be very well performing and fast like it should be skip Lolipop, In not more than 5-6 months there will be Marshmallow (original or custom release) and all your efforts with Lolipop will be part of history together with your time wasted.

So why would people not update their lenovo when they get an official update, why would any one hesitate.If someone has updated his phone with some unofficial update or ROM from a developer other than lenovo, then he has no right to blame lenovo but since this update was announced and provided by lenovo officially it is completely justified to blame lenovo. Though it has been mentioned that update at your own risk , since its an official update people have the right to expect an update without too many bugs.I was a fan of Lenovo and have purchased both lenovo p700i(3 years back when lenovo launched smart phones in India) and vibe x2 on their first release in Hyderabad but Vibe x2 has disappointed me to a great extent Well i would like to mention a list of issues i got with my Lenovo vibe x2:
1) The screen works only sometimes(say 7/10 times)
2) Hangs with use of basic apps like whatsapp and facebook (no games installed and not too many apps open at a time)
3) only 300 MB usable RAM shown normally
4)Artificial Intelligence (When i open chrome browser or any other like firefox it randomly clicks anywhere and opens tabs)
5) The above problem happened for a long time in whatsapp also(clicking anywhere randomly)
6) The volume of the speakers got reduced(very difficult to hear what someone says on the other side).
7) My prime reason for purchase of this phone was gaming but now i hope atleast apps like Whatsapp and facebook work fine on it.
I would suggest lenovo to work on the updates and check for bugs before releasing it.

i upgrade to lollipop yesterday(vibe x2-ap) . the phone totally screw up, no sound, camera not working, battery drain very fast. Never buy any lenovo again
