Some lessons can be learned from Huawei,,, Camera's awesome front & back, Browsers really fast, SQ, even with Dolby (Forget about this). As For HTC, to have a Hero, consider (I mean this time really consider)the Battery power, Volume power and that front selfie camera.

Weak, non-removable batteries and overheating are a huge compromise. Plus, HTC phones are too buggy and too many have deffects. But HTC are too arrogant to notice all the complaints and keep doing the same misstake expecting a different result. They are officially insane.

Even a cheap-ass compact camera beats most smart-phone cameras, but smart-phone users are happy to have that limited functionality built-in instead of lugging around a separate gadget.
And let's face it, HTC can't compete on the camera, so the speakers are all they've got.

Why not buy a REAL surround sound system and stream an HTC sans boom speakers with it for a more hardcore gaming/soundtrippin' sound experience?

FormerHTCfan, 06 Jun 2015Improve the camera. The 20.7MP is the same standard as a 5MP. they should stop by at Nokia and license some of that Pureview tech for the M10 (or whatever).
A few hints.
1) make the phone 2mm thicker (to house better camera, larger battery and QI-charging)
2) XENON flash!
3) DON'T EVER forget that external storage again!
4) Where is that slide-out qwerty-keyboard goddammit?
5) Be smart, don't exaggerate with screen pixels. Full HD and 5" is more than enough for a pocketable device.
6) Please get rid of that ridiculous unused black thing at the bottom with that logo. Either make it a button, fingerprint-scanner, multi-colour notifation-led (or something else useful) or remove the damn thing!
7) No crap like a faulty Miracast, broken VPN or broken extSDcard-access! Adhere to the standards or get lost!
That should be a good start, I guess. Isn't it?

Their new product launched by that time will be obsolete in features as always.. Samsung is supporting VoLTE even in S5 & M9 not having it is one of the examples..
No software updates for Desire series is even worse..

M9 will sell good during winter. Portable heater. Multipurpose phone but people didn't noticed the advantages, but only disadvantages of over heating.
HTC, please remove that BIG BLACK LOGO BAR. Keep the bezels minimal. Don't go Apple way, as you can't be Apple.

Yeah, HTC really needs to improve their camera section. 2 year old flagships are beating this year HTC flagships in camera quality. :) I'm pretty much sure my next phone won't be made by HTC, if they won't step up their game in a few years.

AnonD-77892, 05 Jun 2015remove that pathetic HTC logo ang make it physical buttons ... moreHtc butterfly S and butterfly 2 also have front dual boom sound speakers but the top and bottom bezels are of equal size so the screen fits exactly in the center of the phone so there is symmetry in design.In the case of other htc dual speaker phones including m8 and m9 the top bezel and speaker grill are small and closer to that side of the screen but the bottom bezel and speaker grill are larger and away from the screen. So the screen is a bit off from the center of the phone where there is no symmetry in design. M9 plus and One Me have irregular sized speaker grill with one large grill on the top and two small grills on the bottom which really makes them ugly Other brand dual speaker phones like Sony Z3 and moto g2 have symmetrical design where the top and bottom bezels and speaker grills are of equal size and the screen is fitted in the center of the phone with speakers are equadistantly placed on both sides of the screen which is symmetrical in design. So htc has to redesign their phones with equal sized bezels and speakers on the top and bottom thus eliminating the logo on the bottom.

someone should tell htc that nobody wants their hideous front bezel stating htc only. and those gimmicky front facing dual speaker is also a great waste of space, I have customized amps I know what real sound is, I don't want those brain washing marketing junk in my phone. what a stupid idea, slap two hideous speakers in the face of a beautifully crafted phone.
