I contacted with the hicare and connected with the nearest dealer.. they downloaded the orginal file and updated my phone . Now its 5.1.1 .. now my phone is a beast

i want to know if the mate 7 will be having the lollipop any time soon? i like the phone its very fast and has a lot of good specs but i guess i will have to change if huawei doesnt update the andorid on the device any time soon

Huawei needs to understand the necessary for upgrades its been over 6 months lollipop upgrades havent been pushed, non doubt the phone is fantastic, but chances are there that the users will get fed up of waiting and switch another brand such as LG G4 etc

Too late I am switching to Samsung note edge. All others manufacturers have lollipop except Huawei even Google released it for more than 6 months now. Other than that I am disappointed by emotion UI. Worst interface ever. Only camera features and quality were good. Goodbye to mate7. Huawei lost one customer today.

Shame on HTC!
Charge users so called the premium devices but no update for older devices like HTC One Max less than 2 years old.
Even the 4 years old iPad 2 will get iOS9 update soon!

Actually, the beta test is for 5.1, there is no 5.0 for the Mate 7, Huawei jumped to the latest, kinda makes up for them being so late in the game :D

The beta program for people to test Android 5.0 on the Mate 7 has been available for a while now however i haven't seen one for testing 5.1 yet.
