Sony walks right into a ditch (despite knowing its existence) )and i had thought Sony makes Nice phs n is all Smarts!(Except for a Fact they overprice handsets much more than potential customers are willing to pay, prices come crashing southways shortly after launch, people who initially bought curse n move off the brand, loyalty takes a beating, Sony has been loosing market share continuously to newer company's(Asus Mobile just announced making a profit). Happening Since a Decade now!! and will not listen to some sensible advice!
Why Sony Why? We thought you are interested to come back into game and become Revelent after announcing 5.1 Updates!!

Looool. Really??? Who could have expect this surprise?? As I said use the device as a water heater and you can use the brand new implementation of water cooling feature. All the big companies are really fcuked up with the sd octacores and unfortunately the had no choise like Samsung. As I said no software solutions can fix this. They can only do compromises. and Qualcomm has promised a improvement since the first complaints. So where is it?? I thought the z3+ might be that one. And btw. The z3+ has also a metall unibody with glass backpanel as I know, so the heating issues might be same as the m9.

They put an overheating processor on an incredibly thin phone. What did they expect?

They really have no excuse. It's not like SD810 is just released and no one knows how it performs and there aren't tons of complains.

I hope Google keep this QSD810 away from the upcoming Nexus devices. I hope they go with the 818 or 820.

Okay, looks like it was wise to avoid the 810 all along.
Still, it sucks for the users though.

This is not limited to the Z3+
I have a Z2 and since the lollipop upgrade it has caused a huge heating issue and subsequent battery drain. it is periodical with no rhyme nor reason. In airplane mode I saw a 20% battery drain inside 1 hour whilst driving
