LG G4 allegedly facing touchscreen issues

My LGG4 "caught" the random rebooting sickness in January. Android 6.0 marshmallow upgrade did not help. After wasting a few weeks of mine time at trying to fix the problem on my end, I gave up. It still was on warranty (purchased in September 2015). After 1.5 month of email exchanges with retailers, and then waiting, last week I finally got my new replacement phone. I was very excited to resume using LGG4, because I was getting sick using my old spare phone.
To my surprise, the brand new LGG4 was also faulty. The touch screen did not respond to any touches, only the three buttons at the back worked. I tried factory reset using buttons only. The reset worked, but the screen remained unresponsive and got stuck on system setup, asking to select the country.
That is not all - I've sent the replacement back to retailer. They told me that the phone is fine and have sent it back to me again. I started the phone - touch screen worked! Then I powered it down and up again - touch screen stopped working.
LG is a piece of sh!t. I don't know how on earth did LGG4 get high rating last year? LG=Never ever again.

Just wished I never got this phone. The power button which controls turning on and off phone drone sleep mode stopped working. Tapping the screen doesn't work. Only thing that will work is either plug it in if I have a charger or take battery out and replace.
Second time getting my phone replaced through Warranty which this issue. First time i was traveling, spent 3 hours at Verizon trying to figure it out and still ended up without a phone for the weekend .
They say it's a flaw with the new update but I'm pretty sure its a defect with the phone.
Phone also over heats almost everyday. Phone light turns on by itself. Battery drains very quickly. I can see why when i first got the phone, LG promotion was a free back up battery. I usually go through both batteries per day, and that's with charging it .

Mine LG G4 creating problem after MM update day before yesterday; battery getting drain instantly and my cell display respond too slow, even sometimes i couldn't use my cell phone after several login attempts, and its creating irritation and fuss. :(
Battery recharge is also getting slower, i don't know what to do, should i restore factory setting or roll-out to lollipop? Can anyone suggest?

I've the same issue after MM update, my touch screen doesn't response even after several attempts on LG G4 H818P :(. Creating irritation, and fuss to me.

I bought my LG G4 a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy with it. Now it sometimes happened that the screen freezed. Then the screen does not react on touches on the screen. When you use the back button the screen asks you to shut down the system but as the screen does not react on the touches the system won´t shut down. Fortunatelly, you can take out the battery to shut down the system. But now I wounder, why this happens. I do not really think, its because of the mobile itself but some sort of system error (as the back button still reacts when it freezes). I would really appreciate, if there would be a simple reset button on the side, thus you do not have to open the back cover. This would be really comfortable~ could some1 consider this next time?

my phone sometimes would not wake up with knock had to press power button. i got this in July of 2015. now i went to work worked fine till break unplugged the phone from charger, the green led stayed on like it was still plugged in, took to the sprint repair location they got the lg screen to come on but would go no further and will not go into forced reset using the power and volume buttons. the store said they had to keep it and run some tests and if it failed then they would have to send out for a new one. being as this happened on a Friday i probably wont have a phone for about a week, since they said it will take 3 or 4 business days. i don't understand why they cant give you a replacement they have on hand. not a happy customer.

Got my LG G4 in Sept 2015, started turning on-off by itself in Nov. I went on vacation in Dec and finally stopped by store to have it checked at provider store because it keeps repeating on/off cycle until battery dies, including fuzzy freeze pink-blue buzz screen. It came to the point overheated and stop taking cable charge. After factory format, it went on normal for 1 wk, then all issues came back. After fighting with provider tech guy on the phone 2 occasions, they decided to send me a new one.

this phone has got touch problem. Top left corner of the screen sometimes doesnot work at all. Sometimes it gets rectified itself and sometimes I have to restart it to restore it. Thniking of changing this phone.:(

I got my G4 a couple weeks it came out....it just started to were it powers down and re-boots by it self. Several times in a short period of time....don't know what to do

I got my G4 about a month and a half ago, the second day i had it it satrted doing this thing where for like 5 to 45 seconds half of the screen would blank out with millions of little fuzzy blue green yellow purple and pink spots. and anything under the color block was unresponsive and when it tilted the color block would follow always blocking the whole right side of my screen :(
I am QUITE UPSET that i have to wait till after the new year before i can even bring it back to my Provider. Im wondering whats going to happen, If theyre gonna get it sent out and fixed, if so Im going to have to use a stupid loaner, or if they can even just give me a new one right then and the but then im debating if i even want the same phone as a replacement.. whats the point if this is just going to happen again?!

Bough LG G4 today and found out about this problem. Currently mostly of vertical split of the screen (left side is black and unresponsive) are from accessing the keyboard, but you need to switch Rotation on to switch back and forth to remove that splitting. Currently testing it right noe but will certainly return it in the shop where I bought this and report the problem. I already backed up my files and will go there tomorrow.

My LG G4 has officially stop coming on. The light indicator flashes when you tap the screen but it doesn't come on. Phone powers on but can only be turned off by removing the battery. I can not use the phone at this point as it doesn't light up to see any information on the actual screen... smdh

Hi I have a problem myself with the lg g4 screen . the right side of the screen freezes and then become black . the touch screen still work on all screen . before was just a glitch now is more or less permanent . nearly impossible to use phone now

It would be split and bouncing around all over the place. My phone is only two months old. I went to Sprint this past weekend and they are replacing the phone for free. They said that it is a "known" problem and there was no questions asked. I also want to tell you that I did NOT have the insurance.
