Samsung might stay away from in-house GPU for now

Industry sources hint that Samsung has delayed its plans for a custom GPU design by as much as five years.

            Exynos 7420 in the Galaxy S6 is amazing. Doesn't break a sweat running two apps side by side with picture-in-picture running at the same time. Doesn't get hot like Apple A8 or Snapdragon 810 either.

              There is more simple answer.
              Samsung just can not provide enough Exinos for their huge market.
              Exinos will be only for their flagship devices. For now.
