It supports 128Gb MicroSD too. I have one working with this 64Gb version phone and you can look @xda forums xD 128+128=256Gb in a cellphone lol
I didn't try an sdcard higher than 128Gb though.

Only 128 gb storage and 4gb RAM doesnot make it good phone. Poor camera, poor battery and too heavy to use. SIM slot one stopped recognising SIM on my zenfone. so returned my phone to flipkart and got refund. Better to go ahead with time tested product.

Amonynous, 17 Jun 2015Good phone. Bad OS choice. There are no alternatives unless you think that Ubuntu touch and Firefox OS is near completion, which it isn't. iOS only works on their proprietary hardware. You do know that iOS is a object oriented C-based language that developed from NextStep? Do you know what Android is? Java based. And Java? Java is a object oriented C-based language with a virtual layer for interpretation (called JVM) that is needed to interpret the code on any hardware. Basically, if you make iOS work on the Zenfone 2 you get - wait for it - Android.

D, 17 Jun 2015in all honesty, it's cheaper to buy a 128GB SD Card instead But can you purchase an actual "128GB" storage directly at the store immediately? Not everyone can purchase this as it is still un-available all over the world. Only some countries could get this.

Should've been Cherry Trail instead of older Bay Trail. ZenFone 3 will be the interesting one.

I am still waiting for an era when we will be using a phone has more than 1TB of ram and millions of TBs of hard disk just for a daily use. :)))

The phone is really good for the specs and the price point but there are few small issues which Asus might fix in further updates and bug fixes.
