You can get a retrun ticket to New York, buy the phone in the USA and still save money.
Whjo gives a crap about the relative cost of living etc. Its money out of your pocket.

But DAVE mobile,Wind Mobile and Public Mobile will be launching next year for canada so that mean any world GSM phone will work on those networks which i'm waiting for since they will all be on HSPA+

USA ge... moreAbout the cars price in US i can tell you just this: the cars sold in US are bad quality (leather, plastic, finishing and so on) Take a look to one Mercedes made for the German market and one made for the US market.About the phones price it all depending of the market and competition.

To my best knowledge it olny supports T-Mobile 3G in US. The fact that T-Mobile didn't pick it up makes me switch to ATT and iPhone this year. Right now I have E71 on T-mobile but the lack of interesting devices makes me switch to ATT. Too bad, I was happy with the service and my phone.

(And in dollars, it is, after all, it is only the exchange rate that makes things appear more or less pricey when abroad.) What counts is the value of your local currency and how much of it you earn. Got to play with a mockup N900 and the form factor is very nice.

does not work on at&t or any Canadian carrier as they use the 850/1900 mhz frequency. only works in north america on t-mobile

OK back to the phone.
I thought I saw a thread on this phone that said it was a T-mobile exclusive and it wouldn't work with AT&T's new 3G network. Now this press release says it will work with both AT&T and T-mobile ??
I wonder what happened to the T-mobile deal...

For me in Sweden, 649 dollars sound cheap cause the rate of the dollar is low in Sweden, but for people in America 649 dollars is still 649 dollars. That's why people from Europe always say everything in America is cheap when we go shopping there, cause we pay very little for a dollar. What their middle working class earn in dollar, we earn in Euro almost right now.
