And let's not forget the dramatic lead in app crashes ios with its bugs and less Ram have. Try reality for a change. Or logic. Or maturity

If a call comes in, it pauses the music/ video, when the call ends the music/ video restarts. All the while the gps is running.
How much more multi tasking do you need?

Why anybody can't understand why iphone doesn't need more ram (for now)and Android need 3 or 4? Because iphones doesn't have true multitasking, so they run only 1 or 2(music player,) in the same time, bitch please, I remember back in the day when I've got an iPhone 4s, the safari crashed every time I surf on a heavy site (adwords for ex)

Sorry but the best value for money, iPhones are
If i sell a 2 year iphone i will get about 60%
If i sell a 2 year any other manufacture smartphone i will get at most 50%

Sorry but for a mobile OS to ask 3 or 4 gb ram is kind of dump , many computers with real OS has 4gb ram and 8 gb ram and dual core i5 or quad core..
iphone 6 is still a one handed usage because of the curved screen+swipe left or right and reachability . So apple thought about that

It's just topic about iPhone and trying to be within the topic. Please don't defend iPhone by relating to Samsung or Android. Just answer one beautiful question - Is 2GB Ram latest technology? Is dual core Latest technology. Why can't they put these two important things so that the phones are even more future proof. Atleast it will have good value for money.

No problems in adopting the new technology but to use dated one and marketing as Innovations and then iFans defending it, is a big problem.

So you don't know history. And Apple had iphones with 512 ram and now has 1 gb ram for years...what is the problem? if the iOS require more ram to work at 60 fps Apple will put what it need and no more.
iPhone 4s will run iOS9...so a 4 year phone that haters call outdated tech will run the future iOS. Tell me if Galaxy S2 will run the next android ?
Apple is not in number chasing, they are in putting what is useful and what most users want.

1. Screen Size - 3.5" was good for human hands. Eventually has to change and now it is 4.7" and 5.5" (Beyond Dinosaurs hand).
2. Camera - 8MP is enough. But now changing to 12MP
3. RAM - 1GB enough for iPhone. But now changing to 2GB

Nokia E6 has aluminium body . Dropped from hand several times . Has touchscreen . But never ever ever it has caused trouble . And most importantly it doesn't cost arms and legs . The only hindrance was the OS . But Stephen Elop killed nokia for software at the cost of excellent hardware .
