All are rumors blackberry never go for android. I hate android os . 10.3 OS is really cool. any phone cannot do as bb do. obviously It will loose its market if it will go android.

So I recently bought a Samsung S6 coming from a Z30. If blackberry can bring to market a phone with similar specs, keeping the 5 inch screen i would buy it in a heartbeat. nothing beats blackberry for business use.

Kundos, 19 Jun 2015If BB is going to release Android-based phone, the previous... moreNo issues with BBOS. They are just trying android for enterprise and many other low users. They will never remove their BB OS.

my guess is that the reason behind having an entry-android, is that if it doesn't go well, it will not take away any reputation from the high-end bb consumer pool..
also, having an entry option still gives u loads of feedback/testground, wich later can be used when for optimising android apps
had i not bought my lg g pro2 last summer and they were to sell the passport for 150gbp lower, i surely would have gave it a spin
even to kitkat i slowly upgraded only not be that much left behind but tbh i absolutely don't like the way the android is heading to
i just hope noone will kick bb out of business. it may be still only on it's last leg (pinky) but at least it still does exist
that and sailfish i vote for

I wish BB Z30 could fully support gg services. It could be best phone. But even without full gg services is on my top list.

This could save BB from death. They have to support Android to survive and expand.

After having used android for countless years and then windows for a few years.. now using bb10 for the past 8 months.. I dont like the idea of blackberry moving to android as bb10 os is different and offers variety in mobile os.. especially as its such a capable os.. on par with android and ios

Nice. I think I could buy a Blackberry if it was running Android. I've quite liked their designs, but I don't quite like their current locked down software. Just like I don't like Apple for the same reason...

Android with BlackBerry security features may be a good match have to wait and see the price of the device and how it sells.
