I love my HTC 8x, even though its older I think its still one of the best windows phone out there. Newer models have some great features but none have everything I want in one flagship phone. (like wireless charging capability, physical camera button, fits in my pocket even with the case, etc....) I'm hoping a similar flagship phone will be released soon. My child also has a windows phone, She likes the phone but wants to switch to iPhone when her contract is up only because many social apps her friends use were removed or not supported anymore. I'm hoping win 10 will support them again.

I completely agree.. WP OS is by far the best OS I have ever used after iOS.. and thats coming from a person working for apple.In certain ways its even better than iOS to be honest. the performance output given by a WP running on 512MB RAM is much better than an android running at 1GB. WP OS is as smooth as water..love it.

Abdul Hameed, 20 Jun 2015Windows phone is useless and unfriendly os for basic users ... morewell i ll tell u something, because u dont like an operating system,it doesnt dserve to be trated like trash,wp os is as fast and fluid as ios is ,if u take a look wp workes with 512 mb of ram u see that,means really good performance,smooth adn fast,even good for running high end games on low end hardware for example asphalt 8 wich in android devices with less that 1 gb ram will be laggy and buggy,ios runs games very well too,android has more apps thats right,it provideds to u freedom and with customer rooms u may get it better and buggy at the same time as an android and ios user..i do prefer ios over other ones,u want freedom simply jailbreak ur phone as simple as that so u can install free apps,im not moving to wp because lacks of apps,if w10 fixes that illbe moving too,im using a nexus 5 good hardware but besides it is somehow high end is too buggy bettery is bad and the holy forclosed that a few times we may get...imaging with less than 2 gbs of ram.

Windows phone is useless and unfriendly os for basic users compared to Android and IOS. Android has ease of use and highly customizable.Symbian is shit and it allways gets stuck. Windows lacks apps apart form MS office. IOS is better than windows os . Android is better than both windows and IOS.

Hem sorry but I'm pretty sure that all Lumias have access to the Preview, so it must be like 97% of the Windows Phone 8/8.1 in circulation with access to the preview. That's a big fraction for sure !

I have WP and installed 160++ apps to my phone without lag or whatever. indeed I don't use em all the time, but mostly those are apps that I use in some cases. It's a drag to reinstall it another time so I decided to keep em all, included 40++ games. I have tried android, but ... oh well I don't need to explain it further, no? I haven't even mention Ads.

Don't care much about security. Google allows OEMs to add spywares, add bloatwares that are hard to remove, change the UIs, add their own buggy softwares, etc... Microsoft does not allow these OEMs to change the UI to confuse the enterprise users and does not allow them to deeply embed bloatwares. Apple controls all their hardware and software.

The simplicity and ease of use of Windows is two generations ahead of Android. Apart from Android having more apps, there's almost nothing noteworthy that Android does better than Windows. With Windows I've got app stability (1 app crash in 6 months), zero lag, phone restarts not needed, no need for factory resets, better keyboard, better camera apps, awesome integration with Office suite, intuitive and more advanced interface, no need for antivirus software, no fear of getting viruses, seamless integration for all email servers, security, etc. (and the list goes on) Android is not a bad OS, as it gets the job done. But it's nowhere near the quality and performance of Windows/iOS. It's like comparing a gasoline engine to an electric engine. Electric engine is always going to have more torque, better acceleration, lower noise, plus other benefits. But they both get a car moving.
