this phone sucks it has started giving trouble in only 10 months after purchase.......no one is there to solve the problem....samsung sucksssssssssssss

Thank you!!! This update is awesome, hint to anyone thinking of doing this, download the how to guide thingy first and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY or you could bugger up your phone, do it properly however and its sweet as a nut!

Has anybody tried flashing the new firmware to an Australian Jet 8003? I read it can stop your 3G access? Where do i find the download for the Aussie firmware? Thanks.

S8000HZHJA2 camera update fail!!
i have performed:
a. Type *#197328640# in the Idle mode, then you can reach the test mode.
b. Select [6] Video
c. Select [3] Camera Firmware update
[Please Wait] will be displayed. Wait a few minutes then [Please Wait] will be changed to [SUCCESS]
INSTEAD OF [SUCCESS] I GOT [FAIL]!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey guys, thanks alotfor this firmware. I bought a samsung S8000 with some funny soft ware Z3X-team. Afew days later the screen went blank and black. I later tried to switch on and the screen was frozen and all the keys non-functional. I followed the link provided and rebooted my phone which is now with all original setting. I knew it wouldn't be as good in real life as it was advertised, I got it anyway as it wasn't as expensive as other top phones, it's such a joke, keeps freezing all the time, really unresponsive and the password protect on the files works only some of the time, just a really bad phone.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to install the updates as I'm soooo confused thanks in advance

The Samsung jet could be the dogs bits!! but Samsung just don't care! The times I have mailed them and I only get the odd rely back with useless info!
I upgraded my firmware around july last year and I need a new one! the thing has never work correctly and all the software that Samsung show on the tv to sell the phone were not on it! the excuse! well its not their fault its your service provider that take it off!! So why sell it with all the good bit on then let a company take it off!! Miss selling!! you don't buy a ford focus car from seeing it on tv only to find that when you pick it up it has pink bucket seats and a 950cc engine!!!!! gits!!
So I have been trying to find through this maze of pages, the best upgrade firmware!! I have seen this question written but then cant find the upgrade! is nothing easy anymore? help would be great please :)
