T-Mobile Galaxy S5 starts getting Android 5.1.1 update

This update is HORRIBLE!!
I had to delete nearly every app I had stored on my device just to download it and after I did so the update slowed my phone down so much it is almost unuseable. In the middle of trying to text and the program just closes and returns to home screen. It takes a good 15 seconds just to open the stock texting app. I also get comments that I texted something over 4 times when it only sent once on my phone. Other apps simply don't work. Won't even start. I have virtually no apps left on my phone to run anyway. It says that my device is 80% available but apps wont download because it says I have no room left on my device. Everything has to go to sdcard.
Not recommended.

does this update come with Camera2 API? so that i can install other camera app with manual controls (shutter speed, iso..)

Only thing that a nexsus had to offer was a fast track update. Now what ???
