The same difference in speed is also true when it comes to data transfer.

                              physical usb is not even close to being irrelevant. Mainly because there is no security while in the realm of Wi-fi. Physical usb wil always be relevant when security is involved.
                              everything is not encrypted so that cloud drive you like so much, yea might as well just open your laptop or phone cause everyone can see it.

                                    USB type C is more of a gimmick right now since not many devices support it so you have to burden yourself with buying and carrying around adapters. With wireless charging and WIFI file transfer physical USB connector is nearly irrelevant.

                                      I think any new phone from on should use the USB type-c instead, those who don't are just stupid( I'm talking about /looking at you Sony).
