Blagster, 23 Jun 2015The usual question for me: Warranty. Until Chinese companie... moreOutside of China but still inside Asia - in my country, these Chinese companies offer official product warranties, you name it: Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Oppo, Alcatel (as they advertise this as owned by a Chinese company now), ZTE. Heaven even my Lenovo laptop has warranty. So yeah, don't blame it hard on yourself, it's the Chinese companies' problem until they resolve it. While we do not have some official physical Meizu stores here, Meizu products are available from a particular yet one of the most popular or known online retailer in the country and it offers a full year for service warranty and 3 days unit replacement in case of hardware defect

To be honest im unhappy how phonemakers just throw model after model and not try to develop and listen customers. Of course there is Apple who sell once a year new phone but its only for rich people. All I can do is wait better days. Better days for you all.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2015Since when do "Chinese companies" not provide war... moreFurther, a warranty belongs to the "product" in Western Markets, not the "seller". Therefore wherever I buy my product I have an enforceable warranty. Guess that's "my problem" though eh? LOL

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2015Since when do "Chinese companies" not provide war... moreYeh right, as if one can enforce a Warranty for a company based on the Chinese mainland.

The usual question for me: Warranty. Until Chinese companies offer a full guarantee (and back it up) I won't be buying. Shame though looks good.

The M2 is not an upgrade of M1 Note but more like a mark 2 with some feature added and removed. like wise, the MT6753 is not an upgrade of MT6752 either, the SOC added more support for LTE but replace the higher end Mali T760 for slower T720. Meizu M1 note use 1.7GHz octa-core A53, the M2 note use 1.3GHz; the M1 use T760 MP2@700MHz dual core for GPU, M2 use T720 MP3@450MHz tri-core. If you think the mid end tri-core at 450MHz can be comparable to top end dual-core at 700MHz, you must be kidding. At the same clock speed of 600MHz, T760 with 16 cores has a performance of 326 GFLOPs, T720 with 8 cores only managed 81.6 GLOPS. If M2 note T720 with tri-core is running at 700MHz, it will be comparable to M1 note but not when the clock speed is over 50% slower.
