People who say the G4 is failing because there is no 810 in there are really stupid, choosing the 808 was a really smart decision from LG, since it has no heating issues. No normal customer cares about CPU as long as the device is fast, which the G4 is. It also outperforms the M9, except for games.
Two main factors as to why G4 sales may be mediocre: design and marketing.
The design simply doesn't look very good in photos, although it is lovely irl, especially with the leather, it looks so much better. LG should have used metal on the side to satisfy customers looking at S6 or M9. It is also thicker than other flagships, which I personally don't mind, but other maybe will. The last stupid design choice is to make all versions have a black front, especially women like completely white/gold phones.
In my country, marketing for the G4 has only just began, even though it has been available for almost a month. This might help boost sales.

I am using G4, great phone and the battery actually 1.5 Days of normal usage. The leather cover is a waste, as my hands get dirty easily, I will need to use a case to cover it up.

Premium Price product without TopOfTheLine SOC will always be doomed. what they should've done was to extend those free extra Battery & memory card promotion to other countries to justify the high price asked. not just in US where Apple rules. if i am to buy a new flagship phone & see the offer that my country not getting, all for the same price, i would simply spend my money elsewhere

No sarcasm, but I am actually happy with their failure. I wish them more failures, so that they could earn something. Their G4 was such a big disappointment, I waited for it 7 months and what we have to buy now is a total downgrade to last ear's G3.

The one major factor keeping me from buying the LG G4 is the fact that the display is not AMOLED. Yes, by many measures the IPS display on the G4 is very good for IPS LCD standards, but it just can't compete with AMOLED technology.

With the pricing of the G4 in the range of the S6 and its edgy counterpart they can't do it. Price should be at 500 USD. In India G4 is priced at 51k which is same as S6 64GB version. If price in India is 35-40k range it would sell like crazy. Hope LG changes their strategy.

Well LG has to be blamed for these numbers. Instead of global launch, they are launching 5 countries on one date, 5 countries on another date. Also, no one actually knows the actual launch date and people going for other options.
In Qatar, we hardly noticed G4 launch and still in their official stores you can see the hoardings of G3 instead of G4 at pricing of QAR 2799/- ($767) whereas we can find S6 32GB for QAR 1860/- ($510).

People won't buy LG G4 because they have priced is a way higher than SAMSUNG Galaxy S6. If they price it to Rs.40000 in ndia I will be the first one to purchase it over S6.

I like LG, I even own one of their phones and I recently upgraded...This is the second LG I bought. I was thinking of buying G3, and even waiting for G4...but I chose an older and SMALLER! device, the brand new G2. I do not want to own a phablet anymore. I had a 6.5 inch phone before, and I want something normal from 4.7 to 5.2. And LG G2 has very good battery life and decent components. I wonder why they did not make a smaller version too? Not everyone wants a large phone anymore.
