I don't think htc copied iPhone but it's iPhone who copied htc. HTC started this design back in 2013, with the m7 series. So why will someone say this is apple's design?

The design is perfect however if u recycle the design like apple then u iron out the flaws of the camera and put in a cpu that doesn't overheat then it's worth upgrading from the m8 to the m9

HTC can manufacturer newer and powerful models of different series as much as they can, if they don't change the way of advertising it and improve their cameras and battery life, they will lose hundreds of customers each time they produce a new type of device.

M9 Has absolute stonking audio through headphones some of the crispness in vocals less less sibilance on my test tracks. Superb build but then throw in mediocre camera ,hard to repair ,poor battery life and the phone goes downhill. I sent mine back but since it has had some cam upgrades but full marks for audio and build quality.

When will GSMA update their review of the M9?? It has received two major firmware updates for camera performance improvement. Really... people need to recheck its camera quality before criticizing it endlessly.

It's not about needin... morebut i cant see an improvement.... atleast with androids because now processors are overheating...is that an improvement,,,for me is a stepback...cutting new processors speed dont u think..meanwhile apple is really improving their produts and support...i have the 2 os and i can say that ios devices are far better even u get issue fixed right away...balaced usage ...i think u should look for a pocketable heather insted ill look for a cooler.

i have been reading gsm arena for a long time, and it is not hard to see that most of u worry by alot about the spec..... well most of u are regular users..i understand a better camera and good sound with a decent display size and battery...but why is requeried even more and more sd810 + sd820 and beyond..... no applications really use the powerhorse...wiht a simple dual core or even low end processor is enough to rum them..of course load time will be different but thats stupind as long as the system is optimized....fo0r me a decent phone should have between 720p--1080p display depending of the size stereo speakers.. from sd 400 -- 801 shouuld be good enough for a processor.. 1.5--2 gb or ram are enogh unless u keep opening apps but never close them...a camera from 8---13 mpx good a good lens,of course ,becausemore mpx doesnt mean better pics... a 3000 battery should be good along with quick charge...a nd a sil body.....keeping these specs and working harder on system performance insted of hardware performance u ll notice the difference....companies are optimizing software for high end specs but ...terrible performance even on mid rangers... my best example is iphone devices..these run with capped harware specs and does same or better than our loved android phones.

Has HTC exec read GSM Arena? I doubt it
If they did, the M9 would be much different than is.
It's a shame HTC never stoop down to listen their fanbase.

It is a terrible phone and they should feel... moreExcept that real users are seeing much, much higher cpu temperatures in the Samsung S6. But the lazy, complacent blogosphere don't mention that because the memes are all established and there's no gain in going against the pack.
If you want to see truly terrible thermal throttling of a gpu, read the Anandtech S6 review and look at the graph. It's much, much worse than the one in their M9 review. But I suppose it only takes 2 minutes to run a benchmark, so that's all you need for most reviews - doesn't matter if it throttles like hell after tha.

Exact Same Design for the 3rd year
Aero will be a half-hearted phone to appease shareholders. If they make it too spectacular the M-10 (or whatever they call it) will be a hard sell.
It won't be a phone that will generate great consumer interest.

Eh... I take evleaks with a grain of salt after the M9 concept render he asserted was real. A lot of people expecting something new with the M9 were disappointed the render wasn't true.

If this device won't come with a decent camera then I'm not even interested. They should finally put a 12-16 MP camera with OIS into it and low F number like 1.9/1.8. If they want to compete with Samsung or LG they should deliver proper hardware. And camera is one of the most often used phone feature.

If the specs are true and HTC fix their camera issues then It's a easy buy, And this could save the company from their recent failures

This would be a flop if they end up using SD810 or SD808. It has to be the SD820 for it to succeed.

That's good for HTC. But what would be the size of "Black Bar" in this new model ! :)
(I am not criticizing HTC, I am an HTC fan, still using M7. Just quite disappointed with their design)

Just make a new HD2 and it will sell like hotcakes. Make the aero available in android/wp8/ubuntu/tizen flavors. And post online roms in case people wants to try a new os. Unlock the bootloader or make it available to dualboot/tripleboot. Post the driver codes and resources for people to tinker around. I for one will buy it even if I already have another flagship (s6 edge)

Hopefully they will not mess this one up again. We need 4G LTE Worldwide bands to work on most international 4G LTE bands for those who travel between Asia and America, 4GB RAM, Bigger battery (replaceable one would be better), much better camera (Galaxy S6 quality at minimum), louder speaker volume,and a higher quality screen will let this smartphone sell or else it will be another Failure. Last but not least, do not Install Facebook on this smartphone with no uninstall option!! Those that want it can install it by themselves!
