Will the video call work with the N85?
It's fairly new with a camera in the front but isn't listed in the supported devices.

You can download 4.0 by going to fring and downloading it via PC, not by mobile sms, that way, you can pick the N95 or N82 as your phone and will let you download 4.0. If you download via sms, like I did, i think it automatically told fring that my phone was an N79, therefore, no 4.0 downloand, only 3.4.xx

Let me rephrase what I said. Version 4.0 is the version you want which has the option for video calling, I was able to download this but it says you have the wrong version for your phone. The other version which is 3.4.xx, is the most recent without video calling, this installs just fine, no problems. What I want to do is to install version 4.0 which is blocking me from running the .sis file.

Ho hum, I mean seriously, have any of you ever actually seen anyone making a video call? I've lived in London for years and they have been plugging video calling for years here, and you know what? I've never seen anyone making a video call and I've never heard of or met anyone who has ever made or received a video call - so where are all these people clamouring for video calling? Call me old fashioned or awkward for pointing this out, but you'd find it pretty difficult to walk down the street or drive while taking a video call. If I was on the train or in a bar I wouldn't neccessarily want people looking over my shoulder to see who was calling - and the real pain in the backside is that you pretty much HAVE to use an earpiece of some sort.
I'll stick to normal calling thanks. At least I can pick my nose whilst I'm on the phone to my Mum and not get a telling off.
