      To EVERYONE:

A front camera is NOT needed to make video calls as the Nokia E51 supports video calls without a front camera.

If you watched the video you would have heard where they said they would be adding more devices in the future.

Still, if it works with one S60v3 device I don't see why it can't work with all, for example both the N95 and E51 are the same s60v3 with FP1.

I think that the N900 suports that out of the box? sinds it has skype build in (dont forget Its A Beast) just downloaded fring again just for the video call and its ok, just cant wait until Nimbuzz comes with a upgrade that wil suport that cause fring sucks ad making calls vs Nimbuzz rules....

This is not first video chat prog for symbian60, because there have been other software for couple of years now that could do video chat or call like "imiChat" or "TiVi".

notice it says on Nokia phones, so don't get your hopes up about it getting to your iPhone. From what I recall, iPhones don't have a secondary camera for video calling. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

In response to Timothy: Why couldn't fring or some other application just use the rear camera for video calls? Why would it have to be a front facing camera? Makes no sense. Oh no, you have to turn it around to use it... That just won't do. If it's on speaker anyway (unless you want to look at someone's ear while you talk to them) who cares what the orientation is.

It looked like it was doing less than one fps.

Was that over the network or wifi?

It's just another demonstration of why videocalls are next to useless.
