AnonD-281598, 29 Jun 2015clocked @ 1.5 / 1.55 ghz compare to 2.1 ghz of Exynos. I think i... more. It ran its four Kryo cores at up to 3GHz

1.5? WTF are you saying

I wonder how hot this will be? Literally.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2015Will that make fandroids believe the truth that number of cores ... moreIf more cores are not better why do Apple uses dual core? Stick to 1 core with 512mb of ram then. More cores are always better as long as it is well design without consuming too much power with developers supporting it. Your way of arguing is just like how Steve Jobs said 3.7" screen phone is the perfect size.

EMINEM, 29 Jun 2015This is their last chance or Qualcomm stocks will feel a serious... moreI hope they will For ruining alot of very nice flagship in 2015 (especially z3+) :(

"Close" to the 7420, which has been on the market for 3 months now? Qualcomm is heading for a downfall.

AnonD-322352, 29 Jun 2015"Why only four cores when 10-core models are headed to mark... moreYou have no idea what your talking about. more cores will save a lot on battery life and multitasking and it depends how you they manage them. Apple has the worst outdated cores setup. The battery life on the Iphone 6 with a small 720p screen is very weak only 5 hours on web compared to phones that have triple the screen res and can get over 9 hours on web. Another free heater that comes with your phone. Lol

I dont get it.. you guys used to say 'we want better performance' and then they put 8 core CPU in phones then you guys say 'we want 570 ppi screen because 440 ppi screens are outdated' and you get 570 ppi screens, then you say 'we want more battery life this one sucks'. And then qualcomm builds 4 core CPU that has 2x lower power envelope and you guys say 'omg this CPU sucks, its weaker than 8/10 core from last year...' and so on and so forth.

If this is real, and it may not be, then no wonder they're pushing the clocks to 3Ghz. The CPU core might not be as powerful otherwise. But this means it may overheat again OR Qualcomm will throttle it heavily (again).

I`ll wait for the soc to sit in a phone..these results are prob just "out in the open"..Also I belive the samsung "mongoose" will kill this thing

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2015Will that make fandroids believe the truth that number of cores ... morethey have set on their mind "higher is better" ... even u got last number in class for them is better because higher than number 1~

AnonD-322352, 29 Jun 2015"Why only four cores when 10-core models are headed to mark... moremore cores does not always mean more performance.

they are more power efficient compared to the dual core a8 or tegra processors. which will result in longer battery life compared to those dual core phones, tablets.

AnonD-322352, 29 Jun 2015Well, at least GSMA tried... not. really.. the number of cores used by apps in android is controlled by the kernel.

android authority has already made an article on this. yes, apps use more than one core in android.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2015Will that make fandroids believe the truth that number of cores ... moreIt's a gimmick because devs don't use Multi-threading, you can't blame the SoC manufacturers, but the devs
