Leaked LG G4 S details: 5.2-inch 1080p screen, octa-core CPU

01 July, 2015
A higher-up alternative to the LG G4c though still not on the level of the actual LG G4.

I agree.

It's idiotic to expect that a phone with such great specs to be around $200.
Some people are very cheap and unrealistic I guess.

I don't know what's the point of this model. If they make a real mini like 4.3-4.5" with same spec (except for screen res) as original, then there's a whole big point. I think it will sell like hotcakes, because the only real flagship minis available in the market are Sony's Z compact series. But all the overly clever phone makers in the world turn down this opportunity.

Cod3rror, 01 Jul 2015If this phone costs below $200, it'll be a huge winner! It'... morereally? in my country you can see midrangers between 250-400$ from samsung and sony EVERYWHERE, maybe because you can hardly find those cheap xiaomi etc..in stores. but still saying only sub 200$ and flagships should be sold is absurd

yeah 200$ for 5.2" 1080p octacore phone.... as someone said, even the Galaxy A5 costs more than 250$ which has 720p screen and runs S410 chipset..
the only disappointing thing here is the 8MP camera..

            "an unknown octa-core" hahaha

To those who think that it should be priced at $200, keep dreaming. The Galaxy A7 has similar specs as this and didn't cost $200, but more, even with the metal unibody. If you think specs like this G4 S is worth $200, then realistically Galaxy A7 it should be around $250. LG is a company that's as great as Samsung, Motorola and HTC, they aren't as budget friendly as XiaoMi and Asus. If you're expecting something from companies like this for $200, expect a Snapdragon 410 with 720p display,

If this phone is launched in 200 dollar price range with 2GB RAM and same battery capacity as the G4 then we're looking at a good buy. Let's wait and see folks

If this phone costs below $200, it'll be a huge winner! It's a realistic pricing, look at Zenfone, and other new comers.

If this phone costs more, and is around $350-450, it'll be a flop! It'll be overpriced for the specs.

There are two price segments when it comes to smartphones, below 200, and flagships.

This device should have the hardware from the original LG4 and it would be the better flagship. 5.2" is way more practical than 5.5".
