Anonymous, 29 Nov 2009Why did they underclock the Snapdragon? I hope they dont go... moreyea i know it sounds weird, you have a point about battery for some reason i though it might be software issues, even though X10 is snapdragon and has 1.6 i thought it was a Android error. Android 2 will probably natively support it along with any screen resolutions but

SE sure are talking awhile getting the ui set up, who knows maybe 1.6 does have issues with 1ghz

Why did they underclock the Snapdragon? I hope they dont go the Apple Way. Provide Features, then keep them deactivated and pay to get what you already paid for! Or it may be battery issues also, but then, why go for the Snapdragon? :P

capacitive screen, yea they got it right, Acer you have started great.

only the TOP company use's Resistive (NOKIA)

          unbelievable N900 resistive

too bad the X6 cost like a million bucks, could have been worth something with capacitive

Acer could still win with this, provided IF they're determined enough to NOT continue their particularly notorious rep of shoddy parts' selection, build quality issues and in-house firmware/software support synonymous with their notebook PCs.They're pretty adept at fighting with prices no question there but other than that unfortunately they're still stuck.Hopefully the Taiwan force can shape up in good time.

On the aesthetic aspect of Liquid,"boring" is better than "busy".Look at Samsung's latest Android models like the Behold 2 and Galaxy Spica.God help me I can't understand how the Koreans visualize face and keys' designs for those when they have already graduated nicely with their display panels' physical industrial designs. It seems that they're having a confusing time keeping the design consistency excluding the Jet,Omnia 2 and i8910 Omnia HD,the 3 phones are well thought out.

This Acer Liquid looks like a cool phone. And my personal opinion is that the less manufacturers change on the operating system the better for reliability in the long run.
Just look at the SE fiasco. They tried to personalized the OS too much and end up having no new models for sale for the Christmas season.

Then 4th is the best not in the world, but in the univarz!!!11

Nice phone, but as the note said, it may be just an attempt of a phone.

Computer manufacturers have started to see that cellphone industry can give good profits. The fact is that they need to know what the customer wants instead of just releasing phones with random specs.

                    Android 1.6? Meh...
