google said that, the next batch of android one devices will have qualcomm processors. Why are they again going for mediatek chipsets?

AnonD-83537, 03 Jul 2015I can buy a quality products like galaxy grand max or excel... moreBecause galaxy grand max is useless as it will be stuck on the current software forever and you have to spend 13000 again to get new update galaxy grand max max plus plus and this time the software and hardware are both developed by google so there will be an android of a nexus logo on it just like their partnerships with lg, Asus , Motorola etc and you'll be getting regular updates as soon as they release.

AnonD-400081, 03 Jul 2015Finally a decent phone with regular updates from Google.. ... moreFor 6000 1st batch of android one were decent then. But spending 12000 on manufacturer like XOLO is bad decision. If someone has that much disposable cash then should put 8000 extra to get a Nexus 5. I'm damn sure, even with this price its gonna have very mediocre experience in camera and other fronts. It will be surprise if this can compete with camera of redmi 2 in stills quality and with Yuphoria in terms of other specs, or atleast a big battery.

Finally a decent phone with regular updates from Google.. I gave used the sparkle v and it was one of the best Android experiences I have ever had in that price range.. It's surprising what Google managed to do with such low specs.. And now with the bumped up specs this should be good. I hope it has a better camera than the older Android one devices
