Is there any way to reduce RAM utilization on note 4? it is always in 1.7 GB range. even when no program is running.

Poor Note4. This is the last update it will get.
I doubt it will ever smell android m. Even if it does have it, it will be as buggy and draining as the lolipop is on Note2/3

Samsung always support and upgrade Liplop for end-user. I also using Note and liplop available to upgrade. I like Samsung because best service and upgrade more and more...

SAMMY should've spent time on Android M rather than 5.1.1, I don't see any benefits in getting 5.1.1
