Neo's lineup usually a slight downgrade compared to the base model but it is not as low-end as the Lite variant. If I'm not mistaken Lite > Neo > Base > Plus/Advance.

i actully want this device to sell like hot cakes for 500$.

Samsung are a rip off. Don't be fooled by these gimmicky phones. Just bought the s6 and promptly returned it. Awful Battery life.
