Android will always laggy until version Z*. Because it runs on many many different chips, hence it is very2 difficult to optomize this os.

iPhone fanboys are always using the bogus argument that Android lags a lot. This is simply not true and iPhones/iOS has the same issues. You can find countless articles on the web telling you how to reduce/eliminate lag on your iPhone. Even the new iPhone 6.
The fact is that all phones can exhibit lag when there are too many things happening in the background. iPhone users don't tend to run a lot of those types of apps, but Android users often do. If anything, blame the apps.

Fanboys never learn from their mistake. They keep buying droid devices then cry when their devices become laggy after months of use, and then stop receving updates after 2 years (or less?).

Every manufacturer that puts android to their device is obliged by the linux kernel license to publish their linux kernel sources. If you combine that with the AOSP source that Google provides you can (theoretically) make the latest version of android for that device. However, most manufacturers make changes to their roms that renders the kernel incompatible with AOSP. But if you make the necessary changes you can make it work.

The biggest problem in this site we have too many trollers who make lame stories about having an Android phone and it lags ...etc.
We know WP users always make lame stories about Android lags, but the truth its not! When you have too many apps running in the background it will cause some lags even Windows desktop does.
The funny thing is WP lags even without too many apps running in the background. People who own WP know for sure that WP faces serious issue with lag after updating to WP 8.1 especially in:
-Start Screen Lag.
-Xbox Music lag.
-Xbox Video lag.
-Xbox Games lag.
-Lock Screen lag.

So please DO NOT insult our intelligence by saying WP is lag-free, actually its the opposite.

I couldn't keep a lot of tabs open on the browser because of the limited RAM, but if you are content with sub-par quality products, who am I to tell you otherwise?

lol !!! Android phones are good in specs only not in real life . Btw I use android, but don't claim its better than iOS. iOS is miles ahead (use iPad mini 3). Use and then comment.

u people who speak of lag , u mean nexus or other oems ? im having all nexus and now on nexus 6 and never faced lag on my devices , yeah oem run bloat and make androids lag , and about being opensource , i say apple is a thief , can u show me its not ? can u promise me its not doing it ? android have an opensource community , like billions of people working on it , i mean linux guys too by that , and as a network security adminstrator i can say for security u need ur own cpu design and own os otherwise u r being watched
