Ericsson is a major communications company. Sony is just a very powerful Brand name - Sony need Ericsson as much as Ericsson needs Sony (its 50 - 50). Sony is the Brand everyone knows, but Ericsson is the technology behind it (Think Blueooth just as one example).

I'm a SE fanboy for a long time until now... SE does SUCK. Not only the stupid delays but also the way they fool their customers. The phones may look nice at once but it alwyas got some sort of annoying problems; worst is the Customer Service scuk ass in US it's all third party garbage managed facilities. I ain't paying SE any money from now on.

so what if the se is delayed by a few months? at least it means that se dont knowingly release a faulty fone. some other fone manuf release buggy fones that have major software and hardware problems like gps that dont work cos the housing blocks the chip or a lens cover that actually scratches the lens, wwe all know who im talking about. if the se fone is delayed then it means that the quality control at se is doing its job and not releasing a buggy fone on an unsuspecting customer...so b greatful and stop knocking se for having some ethics

U no life is funny where i come from in the caribbean this is what we call bad mind all who talking about SE will fail thats wishful thinking and some people will get the shock of there lives and i cant wait to see the day when the shew is on the other foot. SE has some very unique phones the designs are like no other and the fear that SE will rise to the top like its doing now never mind the little fall backs that has to come be for greatness. We will see in 2010 what will come all the SE haters they eyes will drop out SE 4 life.

Please stop it all SE haters. You all know SE does not believe in high sales figures but in quality. SE knows that there are a lot of people that does not need all the fancy features.
A phone should be expensive to keep it exclusive, and the only feature it needs is to make calls and send sms's. All these other functions are just there to confuse people and make the phone give problems

Launch is set for January due to some wifi-malfunction (software).

As we all thought so! and I can remember that when I said that here that this phone is already outdated and will be definitely delayed, all those stupid SE fanboys were ranting that this won't happen, blah blah blah... now look for yourself! While X1 was delay almost one 9 months, what's wrong with the X2 getting delay? None of the SE phone are on time in fact and Ericsson was once a proven failure company back in Y2K when everyone out there on the market makes money. Sony really need to reconsider what kind of 'partner' they have. Those guys from Ericsson are bunch ignorant pigs I suppose they don't know shxt about what they doing, all they know is dress nicely and make stupid presentation in announcement.

I read on some other site that X2a (american version) will come in January. X2i (international) is already available.

Nop SE actually delays to release their phones and many companies are really making use of this weakness they had better announcE phone only a month prior to their release
