I think battery is one area that need more improvement. Also, with that screen res, you need much much more powerful GPU to accommodate it. otherwise, it will be useless laggy device.

This screen will not be ready for mainstream for at least another 10 years after it is initially introduced, if that ever happens.

this makes no sense come on 1080p is really good for smartphone and battery...why break the wall with that kind of things...there is not point with this....i hope we have new battery technologies so our phones can last atleast 1 day with out have to charge it every 2 hours due to this sucker screen...and surely should have a 32 inches phone so u can appreciate the quality..lol if 4k tv are perfect why put 11k on a phone haha sammy what are u doing

Guys its gonna be a real battery eater...i gues they have pre planned a 20000mAh battery for it...lol....its a great thought but not of customer benefits...all low resolution things will look crappy on it...not possible to keep such high resolution videos in the phone...i guess they won't be available too...so its not for normal people guys...

I can't see any pixelization already on a 1080 resolution video, on a normal 5 inch sized screen.
Our eyes won't be able to tell the difference.
It's just a waste of energy and processing power.

1 and 1/2 gen of display resolution in 2018 would mean 8k will not be even considered like SD resolution now. Baterries aside, it would be interesting to have an enough powerful processor for media for that screen...

11K display? Why stop there? Why not 11111K? Its not like human eye can't see the nano-level detail ;)
On a more serious note: I hope they get their priorities right and start focusing on battery endurance rating for a change!
It looks stupid if one has most powerful smartphone which only lasts few hours which totally spoils the fun!

Why Samsung care about the display much more then it have ?
The Display is not the most important thing in the Smartphone .
No Matter How the display resolution go up ,It can't defeat the human eye accuracy ..
Yes this is good work , but ..
Samsung should care also about the software , so it can made a 11K Display , so why they can't develop their own software , Instead of the laggy droid ..
This is what's they need , to defeat Apple .
