i was mildly interested, until i read it doesnt actually have dual front facing stereo speakers. that fancy top and bottom grill is just that. a fancy grill. it only had one front speaker sadly.
i immediately lost interest after that. oh and i doubt people will fall over themselves trying to buy this since it is so expensive. it should be around 299 instead.

This phone uses better material than Samsung flagships and only less than a half of its price, it also comes with way much better camera+ audio decoder, crazy battery and a much better processor.
Although Xiao Mi and other Chinese companies are selling the phone with a bit less price but don't forget they are not officially selling their phone in U.S.

I commend ZTE for their efforts to break into the N. American unlocked flagship market.
I love the design and the specs look promising. However, with the debut of the OnePlus 2 just two weeks away, unless ZTE's marketing team can prove the Axon can do things the the '2' can't, I'm afraid this device is going to be a stillborn.

I don't know who's gonna buy this phone. Maybe some people that really want good audio, but I seriously doubt that people would like these specs with such a high price tag, at least when compared to some other Chinese phones with better designs.

5.5 inch seriously? no expandable memory really? why do mobile phone companies keeps doing this? I wonder. Why the deal breakers? who needs 4gb of ram anyway? The design of this phone and its promised hi-fi speakers looks wonderful. Maybe 2-3gb ram . 4.7- 5.0 inch is already good enough and easy to carry around. Why? why ZTE? please.

Coz Americans are so interested in unlocked GSM phones? Most of them arent even using GSM. And ohh designed in the US for the US market? So was Amazon Fire Phone, look how that went.

Terrible the new layout site, but i guess it serves its purpose as Google dictates: Dim the boundary between real info and advertising, create a Google reality where noone cares anymore. Pathetic.
