No card slot,no infrared,no nonremovable battery what ever it may be..most buyer i know don't use its full capabilities its just for passion or accessories for them anyway..maybe to some.but I think not for many.

Samsung are trying to turn their phablet into a notebook pc-like. Notebook pc doesn't have removable battery or sd slot (except that card reader) and we still buy them. They sell battery pack these day that can last for few days. You can also plug in a usb drive or even a hardisk using the OTG function. Works exactly like a laptop but some people just decided to panic and say "Oh no! No sd slot, unremovable battery. What am I gonna do?" Smartphone are getting more powerful than a computer so just think of them like one. Full size laptop have 4gb ram and our small phablet have 4gb ram too. What the differences? Just the size and OS. Stop complaining people.

What's New? Note 5 has the ff:
1) Old Design
2) No expandable memory card
3) Non- removable battery
4) Expensive price
No innovation except on Edge series. Love it!

I think Samsung still keep traditional point same Note series preview. I think Note 5 will larger screen and RAM bigger and shortage can expandable . I think so...
I don't hope and waiting Note 5 more. I think Samsung shall make campaign to innovative Note series design..

I have owned all four Notes. No removable battery isnt a deal breaker if the inbuilt battery is increased to about 4000 mAh. I could handle no micro sd card but need 128GB inbuilt. I have no idea why Samsung still offers 32GB.

Having the micro sdcard slot removed is actually against piracy...but well, piracy has been going on for decades and most people enjoyed it. So it's a battle...we'll see.

Can't wait for this..I'm still using my Note 4 but I will still buying the Note 5..hopefully it offers 64GB as standard internal memory if it doesn't have the micro card slot.

No buy Note 5 if non removable battery and no SD card
Also glass back breaks easy.
Samsung Lead don't follow apple because Samsung already best phone with Note 4.
