Anonymous, 18 Jul 2015Yep, we've considered it, and found there is no competition... moreOkay let's take what you said and agree that there is no "competition"
So why not build confidence in the brand, innovate at the same time and attend to the needs of their loyal customers?
So what's this battle becoming now, aesthetics over functionality? This is not one of those PR stunts that you're talking about, where you mentioned that hired people throw dirt at enemy products. I'm just one from the millions of Samsung consumers who spends my hard earned cash at their products. We're just merely suggesting specs that are supposedly better that we need and desire. Instead what most company does is they trying to match the niche that other brands has already established. So how's that pushing the industry?

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2015A big dissapointment with the upcoming Note 5, and now this... moreYep, we've considered it, and found there is no competition, proven by the desperate attempts of other manufacturers sending their Pr staff, to bombard every Samsung story with insults and negativity, whilst masquerading as unhappy customers, or Joe public just dropping by,that is just dropping by on the thread of a company, they don't like, about a product line they don't like, re . a phone they don't like. Ya know ...why are they here. Paid ? Schizo ? Just plain denial..answers please, on a plain envelope to p.o box...
Go Samsung, pushing the industry forward as you do so.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2015Books if 3:2.. Then if you read landscape 4:3 means you can... moreWut?!?!
3:2 is lss squarish than 4:3!
3:2 is best for reading when in portrait and best for movies in landsacpe. Also you can put two pages side by side in landscape.
4:3 excells in nothing, it's retarted...

I don't need a tab which is getting thinner from the current tab s. But I do need a stylus for a tab for more productivities... Hoping the new tab s will have a stylus, after all I don't see any harm to include a stylus on a tab?

Apple was right all along about the aspect ratio and that's a pill tough to swallow for many apparently. Now that Google and Samsung have come to their senses, perhaps we'll start seeing tablet applications for Android rather than serve as dumb movie players.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2015Samsung was also bashing apple for not having micro sd card... moreAnd now they are forced to degrade their products by removing the sd slot and sealing the battery, having a retarded aspect ratio and a device so thin its battery is barely larger than my phone. Not to mention their flagships, while offering less that before, now costs more. They are the new Apple and that is exactly what they want to be.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 20154:3 is not that good for books , books are closer to 3:2 , ... moreBooks if 3:2.. Then if you read landscape 4:3 means you can show 2 pages of the same book.
Besides, text and everything scales. 4:3 is best because its easy to hold in landscape or portrait in one hand. 3:2 is too squarish and looks bad, and 16:10 is too broad..
Samsung is just trying to hit and miss by trying all the screen ratio to see which one sticks.. Because current Tabs sales suck.

please dont use 4:3 ratio. I will only buy devices with 16:9 screen ratio or maybe even 16:10 for tablets. Last years s tab had a perfeft display (better screen ratio, higher res.) but it can't play HEVC videos because of outdated hardware (only 2015 flagship devices can).
4:3 is unusabble for anything. 16:9 is perfect for movies and videos.
