You watch out now the Chinese will see this news an,on Ebay an other sites Gold look a like Fascia sets will be hitting the sites soon,so watch out buying of certain sites an people,as they did that with the 6300 an you could buy the Gold look-a=like fascia set for about £8 to £10,an make your 6300 look as though it was a proper Gold one but it was not

I think this is a cool looking phone, especially for those who like gold. But it does not have a 3.5mm audio jack.
No 3.5mm audio jack = no buy

Come on, this is more than just a 'bit cheesey', it's a 5,000 foot high EU approved cheese mountain. No, wait, it's more than that, it's a planetary nebula made of a million year old 'stinking bishop'*, a festering galaxy of cheese that destroys all it comes into contact with. Apart from that it's a pretty good phone, just not in gold.

I dunno. A bit cheezy. Does anybody buy these gold or 'fashion phones' like D&G and diamond-encrusted units? I think only tacky, nouveau riche wannabes buy these - Real Housewives, Kimora Lee-Simmons

You're totally right that Bond had the most awesome gadgets, but I certainly don't remember any of them being gold - apart from the girl in Goldfinger - but does she count as a gadget. Certainly fun to play with I'd imagine - whilst she was still alive obviously.

Why do people do this to themselves. What exactly is the benefit of having a gold phone except to prove that you have more money than sense and deserve the derision of all around you?

Having a gold phone is like dressing up as Ali G and expecting people to take you seriously. They won't, they'll laugh at you while your back is turned and make jokes about the size of your wedding tackle.

Did James Bond ever have a gold phone? What about Jack Bauer? No? Ok how about Austin Powers or Jason Bourne or anyone universally recognised as 'one of the good guys'? Hmmm. Still no gold phones. See my point? The only people who have gold phones are the evildoers who get beaten up by the good guys with the normal phones. In other words, they lose - and so will you if you have a gold phone.
