My Mate 7 still doesn't have lollipop. That you haven't updated your Mate 7 to 5.1.1 is partly your fault and partly Huawei's.
First they've rolled out several beta versions but refused to make it official.
Secondly, its up to you to be creative. Don't sit around Lazily. If you're in a rush flash The beta and get Android 5.1.1 on your device. Which am sure is way more than most OEMs that updated their devices to lollipop are offering at the moment.
It still wouldn't hurt for Huawei to make it official though. Anyways am still enjoying mine and am on 5.1.1

I had the Mate 7, which was a terrific device. No complaints. Unfortunately, it was stolen. Now, I am waiting for the Mate 8 to replace it.

I think Huawei is not just letting people have "a taste of the flagship" - they are claiming "a taste of the flagship among flagships". They are implying that the Mate 8 will be superior to all the other top-end devices revealed so far. Let's hope it still is by the time Sep 2 comes along. :)

With Huawei trolling 2K display phones earlier this year, I don't think they would come up with 2K display.

Noel, 22 Jul 2015I guess this might give us a glimpse of the rumored Huawei ... moreI was just going to say that I wonder if the Nexus will be based off of this device. I would even take it having Huawei's own chip, because I'm very wary of the SD 810. Also, I would want at least a 4,000 mAh battery in it, although the biggest I've heard so far is 3,500 mAh. Also, since Huawei uses a HiFi loudspeaker, I hope that it's on the bottom of the phone, as opposed to the back.

I guess this might give us a glimpse of the rumored Huawei Nexus. Kind of think the Nexus will have many traits of this device besides the Karin chipset.
What's with all the talk of the QSD820 probably having similar problems like those rumored to plague the SD810...somebody is trying to put Qualcomm in a box. All chips have some kind of heating issues if u ask me.
