Android 5.1 update for the Nvidia Tegra Note 7 is now out

You'll be forgiven if you don't remember the Nvidia Tegra Note 7, but before the chip maker launched the Shield tablet, it revealed the Tegra Note initiative. The first and only member in that range was the Tegra Note 7, a tablet developed by Nvidia but sold by different partners under different brands.

Mine also after I update to 5.1 it starts to lag even I reset my device nothing happen, is someone can help me to solve the problem? Sorry for bad english

          Same thing happened with my device. It heated and sucked the battery life. Out of frustration I did a factory reset. Now its performance is as smooth as ever. Try it!

            My tegra note 7 is draining the battery so that that it is impossible to use for a few hours. It is also heating up like crazy after the latest Lollipop 5.1 update. previously it used to be a best performing tablet with kitkat OS. The tab does not charge the batteries when it it on and it has to be shut down for the batteries to charge. real disappointment now.

              What kind of tegra note 7? Gigabits model? Cherry mobile? Or US brand evga?because mine I got last week of April lollipop 5.1

                Solution in hand... I did a Factory Reset (which erased everything) but the tablet is performing exceptionally well since then. The games I tried run well now. Tab has become smooth and the heating problem has been solved. Charging issue has been sorted out. Lollipop is finally tasting good now. Still in the process of reinstalling my apps... it's going to take some time. Cheers!!!

                  I upgraded my Tegra Note 7 yesterday and since then I have faced various issues. Battery life is the worst now. It get's so hot you could fry an egg on the screen surface. Games and other apps are very sluggish. I don't thin Lollipop has been well optimized to run on this device. I have been having a major headache since the update. And oh Yes I forgot to mention that the battery does not charge while the phone is switched on. You have to turn it off. A major bummer there.
