The Metro interface is dull and at least for me that's the main thing which is keeping me away from Windows phones. I loved the old Windows Mobile 6.5 on HTC HD2, the interface of which was similar in some ways to PC interface and the awesome HTC Sense with the sliding thingie at the bottom to scroll through apps and I think MS should have followed that path rather than go into uncharted territory.

I don't know why people keeps saying something like "MS should focus on their windows phone instead of android or iOs". What do you know about how MS work? They love to work on secret just like when they reveal the Hololens. They are working on windows phone already, it is just that they have a lot of developers that are woorking in different areas, some of them love to work on "tiny" projects and apps. So, don't think you can make MS do or not do something just becasue you don't like it.

If I'm honest, Microsoft should be focusing on app integration with Android rather than a laucher for it. They already have Windows Phone, and they're giving away their key selling point, Cortana to Android users anyway. If they're thinking of making Android phones now, then what's the point of them producing Windows Phones as well?

How exactly is this supposes to be Microsoft? The moment I read 'swipe up from the bottom' gesture it scream Apple IOS to me.
