Half of which probably goes to run TouchWiz and another half towards bloatware.

This thing is so ugly with the thick bezels and everything. It looks like a phone from 2007.

AnonD-156866, 27 Jul 2015@Sembak what are you saying?Moto E 2nd gen sales has been dropped so in order to boost, they introduce the Moto G 3rd gen 8 GB variant by introducing slight changes to chip-set and priced it very high. The real Moto G 3rd gen should be from S400 to S610.

Thanks for this article, but little bit upset by this little improvement regarding Moto E 2nd and previous Moto G (2nd)

If the Moto G 3rd doesn't come with 2gb ram variant, I'll prefer to keep my current Moto E (2015) then.

With these specs... I think I'll be much better off buying a Zenfone 2. Way more RAM and CPU power for the money (assuming the moto g 3 will launch tomorrow at the regular $180)

I think they are going to stop the Moto E, which has been upgraded to Moto G 3rd gen according to available specs. So now they are skimming the money to target the lost income in Moto E. Nice strategy?!

The specs shows its a upgrade from Moto E 2nd gen. I think they wrongly named the phone as Moto G(3rd gen) instead as Moto E 3rd gen.
