AnonD-389805, 28 Jul 2015Samsung said they plan to make much less phones now.I think they had forgotten what they had told us. New smartphone model every week is Samsung style. That freaky company never seem to be out of ideas and money to make more useless smartphone. They should invest on Fujitsu retina scanner and delete-able bloatware with all that money.

Shame for the glass back. I think it feels warm / greasy / slippery to hold and often breaks. Metal / leather / even non-shiny plastic is better. Well, it's subjective.. what do you guys think about this?

Well more pictures have leaked showing it has a curved glass back so no replaceable battery, the sim tray looks very wide, like twice the width of a normal sim tray so possibly still has an SD slot and they've removed the IR blaster so there's yet another feature they're removing yet will cost more no doubt.

I wonder what they release next week. One Galaxy per week is good enough. That's why they call them 'galaxy'. Because there are so many of them.

If the Note 5 sales went well the older Notes will have to be dramatically cheaper. The downside is that if the Note 5 a big flop, my wish will never happened. Cross finger.

And is still technically the best all around overall device besides what the S6 is better at.
Much better than the Note 3. Even bests the S6, iphone 6, Nexus, and all others in many departments.
Unless you can get the Note 3 dramatically cheaper.

The entire internet was always on this kick of how cheap, horrible, ugly, weak, and toy like Samsung phones were because they used "plastic".....OMG.....How terrible. Even most of the big websites and everyone are a bunch of followers and believe what they see. And everyone thinks the only way for a phone to be durable or of quality is metal or glass.
However....Paving the way for the future of display technology and phone tech while making a neat looking aesthetic is not useless or a gimmick.

Can't wait for the event! Hopefully the Samsung Galaxy S6 mini will be announced! at the event. Gosh I can't wait anymore. There should be more a focus on the S6 mini, do we really need another plus size screen?

Besides, Samsung aimed for aesthetic value. They keep appearing in movies. Jurassic World then Marvel Avenger. Hollywood wants them because it look futuristic.
