A flagship with a 5.7 inch display? Why ditch AMOLED display?
For me, the "Play" Edition is just a blown up Moto G... The Specs are below the Moto X 2nd Gen..
          Really disappointing...
Oh... and the Moto G is bigger with the same screen size...

Amazing line up...simply one of the best concise to the point presentation i have seen in a while. All three products showcased are top notch in their class, with very attractive prices...oh and i really love that battery size of the Moto X Play. This making the choice for my 2015 device even harder. I am gunning for two devices total....one of the two rumored Nexus devices definitely IN, then it will be either one of the following: Moto X Play, OnePlus 2, LG G4 Pro, HTC Aero or Note 5. Choices galore folks....hmmmm(hand on chin)

disappointing !! again snapdragon 4xx. moto g is no longer in the "value for money" range. OP2 much better. though twice the price, I can get 4x specs.

As a former Motorola user and moto g of the first generation fan I am really disappointed.
The moto g has a price tag where others offer 3gb of ram with modern octacore chips and 13mp cameras with Sony sensors, the moto X will likely be just another oneplus 2 with a higher price...

Sad to see, the company I liked is nothing more than midrange these days
