computer works on only 3 platforms
linux, ios & windows.
linux is not friendly for maximun customers as it is based on codings
ios is way too expensive
windows is friendly and is available on reason rate depending on computer configration.
but yes, on smartphone they failed badly......

Hey guys I have downloaded windows 10 but it is not installing,giving installation error "80240020" please help me in installing it on my windows 8.1 without loosing any data and product key.

I gave up and decided to send it to the computer store and let the professionals handle it. Save me from all the trouble. Its not like I even use my laptop all the time. Most of us spend more time on our smartphone anyway.

The best just got better. My 8.1 to 10 update went smooth as butter. I actually thought about not updating, but it was really worth it. Faster than 8.1 as expected, no driver problems or nothing else plus games are working better (250GB SSD/4K-resolution/4970K/980 Ti). This is what I expected from Windows 8 originally.

I am unable ... moreThese updates are related to windows defender virus definition update, what you need to do is Just open windows defender and click on the "Update" Tab then click "Update" button, let it download and install updates ... and phewww.... Check for windows updates and you will get a message..."your computer is up to date"

i deleted the files in the software distribution folder but i couldn't run a command prompt.
can i still receive the upgrade automatically?

Before you guys update to windows 10, do you guys know what's coming for you? The Internet Explorer is no more and replace with Microsoft new 'Edge' browser. The Start button is back and the new windows 10 also come with our lovely Cortana, the voice control assistant. And Oh, this is the 'last version' of windows update. There will be no Windows 11 or anything after that. Microsoft might redo and re-introduce a new type of system for computers in the future. Era of Windows is closed by Windows 10. Microsoft will eventually, and slowly stop supporting windows just like the old version of Windows.
