Fact is dork space bum has never used an iPhone. I'll admit it, I didn't use to like the way apple did things, but after using an iPhone it all makes sense. Apple is a perfectionist software and design company. Everything they make performs as well as it looks. Their products are designed from the ground up, thinking about the user and ignoring what everybody else does, and it does it with brilliance and genius. And they never claim to be able to do things they can't, like nokia when it tried and failed with ngage, ovi, comes with music, symbian - all terrible products. In contrast, iPod, iTunes, iMac, OSX, MacBooks, iPhones, have all been great and succesful products. The only product i can think that was a failure was the Newton, but that was before steve jobs came back to apple, when the company wasn't itself. In fact, every single product apple has launched since 2001 has been a hit.

So far iPhone gave the users new experience of touchscreen phones,where other touchscreen PDA winmo based failed,as you know winmo OS started in in touchscreen world long before apple and they give us complicated ways with smartphones along with ugly UI all the time,that is until iPhone was launched and suddenly winmo awaken from hibernation then started copying iPhone features,nokia is only following the trend yet they didn't succeed and did a terrible job translating symbian into touchscreen UI.
Apple really give us the coolest touch UI that's why i take their side,but don't get me wrong as a fan boy,i'm open to new things as long as it's truly remarkable innovations,like SE's Walkman & Cyber-shot series back in their early glorious days.
Don't get me wrong,i'm with deep $h!!t bar when he compared Apple with motorola RAZR,Apple might get down like motorola if they follow motorola self destructive pattern with the RAZR,especially if the 4th Gen.iPhone failed to give us the exciting feeling like the 1st Gen.iPhone,but of course Apple is not motorola,so we should wait and see.
I'm just sick with the way of deep $h!!T guy keep on bashing around iPhone,if he couldn't accept the fact of nokia & symbian failure,that's his choice,just like it's ours when we choose iPhone along with its +/- features.
As for me i'll stick around with my 3Gs and keep supporting iPhone until the 4th iPhone released.

Love my iPhone 3g (waiting for the new release after 3gs, though), but the hd2 would be a GREAT phone if it had android instead of winmo. (better than the xperia x10)

Sales are one of the most important factors! I mean Nokia sales are falling faster than a brick! And why? because No one really thinks nokia are special anymore! Nokia phones nowadays look appealing at first and then when you buy one, you'll regret it after a day. But with Iphones they look appealing and once you buy one you'll be happy as long its with you! Which is why apple have sold so many iphones. Nokia just cant keep up!

Apparantly Nokia have released the next Maemo update for beta testing and there is still no sign of portrait mode.
I think they put the story up at "used to be symbian-freak.com".

i LOL at deep space bar, purely because he is arguing that sales don't mean anything. See, that's the problem with Nokia, they haven't figured out that no one likes their product, even though their sales have nearly dropped 50% in the last few years.
People like the iPhone, so they buy it, here is the simple equation,
More sales = More liked product
Less sales = Less liked product
That is the only thing that counts in terms of better product, the iPhone meets the needs of people so much more than any Nokia handset has, so they buy it.
Therefore iPhone > Nokia

Cause symbian was doing it from years and maemo 5 will be soon plus
Maemo 5 and n900 are based on a INet tablet so what sence would it make for a tablet to go portrait ?

Nokia tried to rise to the iPhone challenge with Symbian and failed now they dumped it for Maemo which you can't even use in portrait mode, has no MMS or Java and is a fat brick that still needs a stick to use it and has very little in the way of applications and language support.
How come Nokia didn't sell a million of them in the first three days like the iPhone 3GS?
It'll be a surprise if the N900 even manages to compete with Android phones.

Seeing things done through is better cause at least you know it's done properly and fully complete
It's just like a math equation
Full steps are more complete and you know how to do it and know you know it's done properly
Short equation means you know its done but your not really sure if it's done properly
