We have enough experience to say, it will be one more bubble from samsung. company doesnt want to support omnia hd. They created the device as prototype for successor devices like omnia2...
I owned omnia hd and updated few times but unfortunately all updates was minor. since then i don't trust samsung

mgproductions, 24 Dec 2009SATIO? that phone with more bugs than the omnia hd and had ... moreMore bugs my butt! It has less bugs than this brick omnia and this omnia has been out for almost a year now! And obviously you're somehow saying something like it's not about megapixels bla bla bla. Well, Satio has high megapixels AND awesome camera quality. Sony Ericsson is best know for that. So you can now just s*ck your UGLY omnia brick that looks like a budget china-phone! HAHA Poor you.. Still hoping for this HOPELESS phone.

I bought an Omina 8910 HD. Except for the camera nothing is good.For example the GPS software is not included in the 800 USD phone price. It will cost you 300USD more.And their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. So buy a good Sony camera and a beautiful Iphone 3Gs.

Samsung really releases good phones - but they really suxxorz on the after-market support. Technically, that's what makes Apple better than most of the other manufacturers (except Nokia of course)

This phone is HOPELESS and is pure cr*p. Just get the Satio. You get a STYLISH phone instead of this phone that looks like a china-phone or a budget phone. With Satio, you get a better 12MP camera with XENON flash and LED flash. You get stylish and useful protective lens cover. You have more stable phone. You have an AWESOME UI with flashy animations and sleek look. You have better 30fps video recording. You get a lighter weight. And you get just about everything Entertainment. Truly an Entertainment Unlimited phone! This one is just pure BS!

Anonymous, 24 Dec 2009Nokia N900, HTC HD2, Motorola Milestone, Sony Ericsson Sati... moreYou are right they are better but the cost are more expensive have you realize it? Omnia HD cost 691$ while the phones you just said cost 1042$ (HTC HD2, Xperia 10).
Overall its a good phone but I like omnia ii instead with WinMo OS.

@Arun,
OVI is compatible for the Omnia HD. I also use OVI Store in my Samsung i8510 Innov8. OVI Store is THE STORE for Symbian phone.

samsung please do something about
1. the adobe reader LE 2.5 which does not view pdf docs in fullscreen.... its a shame for a phone with a big screen.
2. start your own app store for users in india... like nokia has Ovi!

Thank you Samsung???? The powers that be should taken outside and beaten with a bunch of stinging nettles....Why should we thank them for doing something that should have been done many months ago!...This is there their job, and in the case of the i8910, a job they have done extremely badly.....Now give us the phone all i8910 users want instead of releasing half hearted updates to placate the masses....
