@Sony ? We recently heard that you suffered a huge loss ($1.2 Billion) in "SmartPhone" Business.. & now this insane pricing?? Are you trying to overcome the lose by overcharging people insanely? That's not gonna happen..... Looks like you haven't learnt from past.... Looks like you want to suffer more lose in the Game... Good Luck :-)

The launch price is always high as usual. Within 2 months the price will reduce by 10 -20%. Instead of reducing the price after 2 months, if they introduce with that price there will be more buyers. In india xperia M4 aqua release around 25k at the end of may and now it is available at 20K. If they have released the phone at 20K at that time of launch itself, many would have bought it. Similarly will be the case for M5, it will be priced very higher and it will become value to money after few months. Sony think on this. Also the can launch online only phones for low cost, not sure when they will follow this strategy. Be up to the trend. I love sony products, and i dont want them to loose markets.

For those having a pop at Sony I would have done the same a few years ago as I always had Samsung phones and tablets(I still love my S4 mini). However I now use a Sony Z3 compact as my day phone and it is a revelation. Especially if you use the matte screen protector supplied. The screen is awesome! I use a Z Ultra as my media viewer. The ultra doesn't have great battery life but still a nice piece of kit. Both play 4K videoes no problem. I will certainly check out the C5 Ultra.

These are harder and will hug the lines perfectly. They will NOT scratch!!!!! I've tried it!!!! I use one on my ultra. Get one and see what you think.

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2015Lol. Meanwhile mediatek has made some great chips.Performance aside, Mediatek chipsets still have GPS issues, almost no software updates are made for this devices and lack of sources mean no custom ROMs or root access. If you're ok with that than go for it.

On my Z Ultra I use silicon soft case (protects from bumps & falls). Not sure its possible to use here due to lack of side bezel at all!! It's true we have complained about bezel size before, but that was for the extra acres on top/bottom, not so much for sides!!

For an example in Moto or even with stock android, can you send a contact though message application and in plain text format? ans is no. Only sony will give tons of option in an SMS app. similarly I can list atleast 15 such wonder that are not available elswhere.
