M5 is seriously insane device...it somewhat can bring Z series to the shame

Now, regarding their design, i think they're both great. I think we should wait until we read the review on the M5 before saying it will cannibalize z3/z3+ sales because you never know where it might disappoint, and the Z series does always have the advantage of getting updates quite swiftly, even the old xperia z.

The problem with the M5 is that however good (or better) it is compared to the flaghsip z3+, it will never have the same support regarding updates as the Z series, which continues to get updates even for the original xperia Z

I am going to talk about M5. It's a great phone and I am waiting for it as my next phone. It came at the right time as I couldn't find any phone that I can upgrade to. It's definitely hot although it could have had a bigger battery since it is irreplaceable.

i can't believe that anyone likes C5. its Design has not even primary aesthetic features!!!
M5 is not as ugly as C5 but has much bezels and odd hardware for its class!

Honestly, the M5 is amazing with that price point and that amazing specs. They say its a "super mid-ranger", but its somewhat better than the current Z flagship (Z3 & Z3+/4). Totally hot. Sony always make amazing phones and a near stock android experience for Lollipop, but their marketing tactics is a joke. M5 will cannibalize the current Z series, especially with Z pricing.
