The price for iPhone is already too high. It doesn't matter if its from apple website or through carrier. The only thing you can argue is the build quality but htc phones are also well built and beautiful. Spec wise, iphone doesn't match other high end offerings but still the price is high enough with china assembling everything. Adding 1GB extra ram, or sd slot, or better battery, or water resistance shouldn't change the already high margins that apple have on iphone sale. Its not rocket technology, apple just dont want to change the margin levels.
SD cards, well you have no idea that given the option most of the people use this feature. If you don't give the option than you can come up with 90% or 95% figures. Moving to cloud is not that has happened everywhere in the world. And until that happens there is no reason not to give this option. Buying more storage on cloud is way more expensive than an sd card. And sd card is offline.
My iphone battery only runs for half a day. Its only 1.5 year old. Now I have to spend 20% of how much my phone costed to change the battery. Nice model.
Your comment is more of an apology rather than real life usage. Its like suggesting the iphone 4 user to learn how to hold a phone.
I liked apple alot, more then android or microsoft. Its not until I became a customer that I realized that its either apple way or no way. What you get is what they want, not what you want.

While my apps are all in the internal memory.

Removable SD Cards on smartphones is not only a waste of time, It's also reserved to a VERY TINY niche in the products targeted demographic. Everything is moving towards the cloud, get over it. These are smartphones not laptops.
Water resistance I'll give you that is not something that's useless but It's inclusion will almost certainly raise the cost of the device due to added manufacturing complications (in one way or another anyway) which the company is almost certainly going to pass of to the consumer.
Removable battery is also a complete waste of time for obvious reasons (ask Samsung). This is another silly feature reserved to a very small niche in the targeted demographic that simply should just go ignored. Removable battery is NOT the answer; long lasting battery & great power efficiency is. If you walk around with 4 batteries for a smartphone & one battery dies & you continue to swap the battery out; sure you get to get a longer charge but you STILL have to charge the batteries eventually plus you look like a moron walking around with lithium ion in your pocket; I won't even mention the hazards & lawsuits that may follow suit.
Price is a legit point but this is likely to be determined by the Carriers purchasing 90% of these devices & subsidizing them back to the Consumers so It's not like 90% of the people who buy iPhones are buying them straight from Apple. With this unfortunate reality in mind there's simply no reason for Apple to lower the prices on the iPhone especially considering demand just continues to either go up or stay the same.

I really think that some people have been smoking something in these comments.
Apple will release a iphone 6s that will look the same as the 6 but maybe be a better cammera and screen and the most overated feature in history force touch. It wont blow your mind but people in the Tech press will say it the best thing ever which means the 2 idiots that compare Apple to God will have something to talk about. Apple will charge alot for not very much.

Now I got iPhone 6+, Mac and the Apple Watch.... All of those devices work amazingly well together.... Comparing Android experience and iOS experience as a whole is unparalleled. Android felt like a toy.
