OnePlus 2 will start shipping to North America 2-3 weeks late

You'll still be able to order one starting tomorrow, but it will arrive later than in Europe.

      It's the Chinese business model that screws up OnePlus. That, and they can't manufacturer jack. It's farmed out to big brother Oppo. Oppo has their own phones to produce & sell, AT A LARGER PROFIT also. Now, if you were the parent company, BBK Electronics, WHICH phone would you give priority to in assembly? The Oppo, which is profitable, or the cheaper knock off OnePlus, which doesn't make as much profit? Also, with this delay, it will put the shipping well into September, which is when Motorola X devices will be available in the North American hemisphere. Considering the backlash with No NFC, quick charging etc, OnePlus may not come away as well as they did last year.
      Last time, they were the only "premium" spec device as a somewhat more reasonable cost, but with ZTE, Moto, Asus, Huawei and others in the mid/upper spec sub pricing game, the pie just got cut into smaller pieces. Maybe OnePlus will write off the NA area and concentrate on China, India & Europe.

        The Oneplus Two is plentiful in Hong Kong and China. Most local stores as well as the online shops based there have them available at prices near the MSRP. It is nothing like the OPO's release last year.

          CELLULAR wireless communications is entering a NEW revolution era -relatively cheaper handsets to match specs of more EXPENSIVE apple -samsung -front runners -- very good for the MASS revolution..but apple and samsung have very good after SALES services which NO other handsets maker can ever match .. prices of laptops from $ 3000 dropped to now $300 .. thats the WAY to go ..speed up please ..

                It's no different than Apple...they build up a lot of hype and then come up short when it comes to meeting supply and demand. They then say that they have millions on back order though as a publicity stunt to make it seem like everybody wants the phone. 1+2 invitation system is just another hurdle to make people jump through to get the "prize" ;)
