Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has its special features detailed

11 August, 2015
By now it's no secret that Samsung is set to announce the Galaxy S6 edge+ at its August 13 event alongside the Galaxy Note 5. Through all the leaks we've seen so far we've gathered that the S6 edge+ will essentially be just a blown-up version of the already available Galaxy S6 edge.

What's the difference between launching apps on the homescreen and the edged screen? Useless function.

You may call them Lagdroid, Lagpple, LoadingPhone and whatsoever but it exist across platform from android to ios and even windows phone. On android the problem is always the ram and memory storage. In IOS the problem is always the IOS version which when updated to the latest version;IOS8, lead to the older model(4s and below) to lag. In windows phone lag are almost not noticeable but its there and it struggle less no matter what kind of stuff you do to it. But still, WP is admitly boring and dull so not many use them of have any experience with them.

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015Apple didn't invent anything. Apple just popularize anythin... moreExcuse me. Samsung is not the only one using fingerprint sensor now. By the way, Apple is the one who followed Motorola. Motorola was the first. Motorola use fingerprint scanner since 2011. Apple just newly adapt that to their iphone 5s in 2013. Then HTC decided to join Apple one month later next. People expect Samsung, Sony and LG to launch phone with fingerprint scanner on 2013 but they didn't. Samsung and the others only join that in 2014. Then Oneplus, Huawei, Meizu, and Oppo are among smartphone that already using them now.

I don't use any of the edge features anymore. Just clutter and gimmicky.

Samsung makes the same stupid UI mistakes over and over again, and then wonders why Apple is eating its sales.

The Edge is a good phone, but the bloat is still there. And yes, it lags. Rarely, but it does.

Samsung needs to stop wasting time with the edge gimmick. 5 contacts and now a few app shortcuts? Wow.

matt00112233, 12 Aug 2015I heard the Note 5 will have a microSD slot up to 128gb Unfortunately, the news of the memory expansion only is for the dual SIM version. You're stuck with whatever memory size with the regular one. Silly move on Samsung.

They should have made this a Note edge with 4500mAh removable battery with MicroSD support and IP68 certification and this would have been the best phone in the world.

Ba ha ha ha... We already have those features available. In fact I've been using a 10 shortcuts bar highly customizable. So, by this time the battery is the only down for me, but the last update is giving me 22 hours of use, wich is more than fine for me.

Features? More like useless gimmicks that most people won't care to use and are unremovable bloatware that'll create more lag. Lol

                                      Oh wow that's game changing

I've been using the app SideSwipe to do exactly what these "new" features are. I can have numerous 6x7 icons sets triggered by swiping from the corners, upper sides, and lower sides, with different sets of you want to with instant contacts shortcuts.

OMG. You don't have to buy this so you can have those swiping features.
