LG Nexus and Huawei Nexus specs leak, suggest very similar devices

12 August, 2015
Both will (probably) feature metal bodies with front-facing speakers, fingerprint readers and USB Type C. The screens are set to 5.2" and 5.7" respectively.

What matters to me is
- best camera to avoid also bringing standalone compact camera
- pure Android for no software modifications by vendor for timely updates, lowest risk of less than optimal software and no bloatware.
- best legibility of display in sunlight
- replaceable sdcard for when no means to offload
- replaceable battery for when no outlet or worn down battery
- significantly lower price than that of Apple and Samsung premium devices
I'll wait for review of the upcoming Moto's, LG Nexus and Huawei Nexus before buying.

    These sound like nice phones.

But with the shift away from Motorola and back to LG (as well as to Huawei) will mean a move back to Qualcomm's sucky Fluence noise cancellation. Fluence is not good on the Nexus 4 and was even worse on the Nexus 5 (cutting off the beginning of what you say).

Motorola has really good noise cancellation, both the chip that drives it and it uses four microphones. The other good noise cancellation solution is the Audience chip, which only Samsung seems to use these days (it was in the Nexus One and later in the iPhone 4, but that seems to be the high point of noise cancellation for Nexus devices and iPhones).

Too bad, I was looking forward to a smaller device than the Nexus 6 and other improvements, but it's not worth it if I'm going to be stuck with Fluence noise cancellation.

A man made review sounds more trustable.

I don't think they will come with 820 as that has not even been confirmed properly and Qualcomm is saying the SoC is only going to be available in the first half of 2016.

Hopefully the 5.2 version won't weigh a ton; I'm chagrined by the propensity of manufacturers to produce portly devices.

Spec leaks?? Are these people copying and pasting the same info week after week? Redundant information again and again.

All I care is the part mentioned,LG with front facing speakers, I've been dreaming about that for years specially when combined with the 5.2" 1080p just perfect, but still hope LG uses the exact recipe on a LG branded phone cause LG still has the best skin on android and nexus pure android means crap!

147x73 that's a size that fits those who prefer oversized shovels. And nearly 1 cm thick! In 2016! 7-7,6 mm flat would be reasonable, but nearly 1cm... What are they smokes in LG?

Even so, if it did have the SD 810, the front speakers and Android M might sway me, as long as it had a 4,000 mAh + battery in it. If it really does have the 820 in it, it will surely be mine.
