hd2 is cannot be compared.. it doesn't have a hardware keyboard.. the one thing that is mandatory for my phone.. the Omnia II doesn't cut it by the sexy sony design :)

but in my country HD2 is 550 euro and i am sure HTC will not drop the price of HD2 until q2 2010
but now x2 is 490 euro and in february or march people can buy it only 400_420 euro!like satio

For that price, you can get many other WM phones.
If you need a Sony, well you only got one choice.
And as far as best deal, well you will have to judge your need.
8MP, stereo speakers & keyboard: advantage X2
8/16GB internal storage: advantage Omnia II
processor speed/screen size/WM7 ready: advantage HD2
All 3 have different characteristics.

500 EU is nothing (less than 750USD). It has been that price since XDA time.

If you have 500 euros and want to buy se X2 then why not,it´s up to you and besides you can afford it.....for those who can´t afford wait until it comes with a contract.

At the end, it all depends what you want.
The X2 is just an updated X1 all over but with the same processor.
The X2 might excel the Omnia II in most area, except internal storage.
HD2 goes for straight power with massive screen ready for WM7.

X1 and X2 is using Qualcomm's ARM-based CPU with ARMv6.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon is at ARMv7 starting @ 1GHz.
